I was very impressed with Fabio Gomez. He was knowledgeable about the different heating systems available for my home. He responded to all of my questions and came up with different options for my consideration. So, I selected them after considering other proposals from other companies. I not only feel comfortable with the experience of the Brody/Pennell. I also trust that they will do an excellent job with the heater installation. 10/12/23 Desidiero Sanchez came out today to do maintenance on our central heating. He was thorough, conscientious and professional in performing his job. 5 stars!! 3/29/24 Steven Juanes came out to do maintenance on our central heating. He was thorough, conscientious and professional in performing his job. 5 stars!! He responded to some questions I had on the type of filter that was installed. 10/1/24 Rene Morales came to do maintenance check on my Father's heater. Even though his recommendations were hard to accept. He explained the reasons why he needs a new heater. We have a follow-up appt with him and his supervisor to go over estimate. On a scale of 1-5, I give him a 5 for his excellence. 12/13/25 Justin Garcia came out to do maintenance on our central heating. He was thorough, conscientious and professional in performing his job. He explained why a 4 inch filter was what got installed originally in our heater and why we should continue with that size. Even though I had to pay extra for the larger filter, this should of been explained to me when I signed up to add the maintenance agreement. Nevertheless, on a scale of 1-5, I give him 5 stars for his professionalism!! 8/18/26 Today Chris came out to do maintenance on our central heating. He was thorough, conscientious and professional in performing his job. He showed me pictures of all the heating elements he inspected. In particular the filter was pretty dirty, and I approved the installation of the $100 filter. On a scale of 1-5, I give him a 5 stars for his professionalism.

Supervisor Juan Molina came to my apartment to repair our busted HVAC system, which had me living in 80 degree heat for days. He identified the problem in less than five minutes and had all the necessary equipment to fix it on the day. He was incredibly kind and explained all of the issues we were having so that I could explain, plus made sure to get me a discount for everything at the end of the day. The other day, turning on my heater for the first time this winter, I became aware of the “botched up” installation job performed by another company several years ago. A company, by the way, that no longer exists and apparently went out of business shortly after my “installation”. I knew now to call a well-established and respected company for help …no more cheaper “short cuts”. Brody Penney was the obvious and only choice. “Lou” responded immediately, setting up an assessment appointment in less than a week. The appointment was confirmed and a helpful ‘reminder’ sent. The wonderful technician, Renee, called to say he was arriving and was exactly on time!! He patiently listened to me explain the unfortunate history of my currently malfunctioning zonal heating system and a non-existent A/C system. His thorough examination of my systems led him to ask for a second opinion from his Supervisor, Ashton, (who showed up within minutes) before giving me a final assessment of the work that would be needed. Ashton, so knowledgeably & professionally, spent the next couple of hours examining every detail of my system(s), finally explaining every detail to me so that I could make an informed decision as to what work should be done. On this basis I was happy to agree to the suggested work, signing an Agreement & scheduling the job in a few weeks at my convenience. Ashton even gave me his card with his personal number to call if I had any further questions. In summary, I could not have had a better experience than with these two professionals who showed such patience, thoroughness and expertise. Manuel Barrios did a fantastic job giving my home mini-split system its semi-annual check-up. Not only was he very thorough, he also took the time to explain to me in detail how my system works and all the things that were in good working order, as well as the things that would need some attention in the not-to-distant future. He was also upfront with the costs of these future maintenance tasks. I just found him to be extremely knowledgeable about his craft in general!! He was also respectful of my property, and made sure he left my home as clean and orderly as he found it. He was also very organized and methodical in how he checked each unit one at a time so he wouldn't miss anything or forget a step. Brody Pennell has always given me great service and has helped me keep my system in good working order ever since I retained them. I happily recommend them to neighbours on the "NextDoor" app who are looking for HVAC services. But Manuel Barrios was exceptionally competent and knowledgeable, friendly and thorough, and I will definitely ask for him by name when it is time for my next semi-annual check-up!! Juan and Jesus Romo came to repair my A/C. They were so very polite and friendly. They took pictures of everything so I didn’t have to keep going up and down the stairs. It was a pleasure to work with and to have Oliver Figueroa manage the installation of my HVAC system.
